Establish a rod cover.

Measure a lateral gap of the bottom head of a rod (fig. 2.169).
If the lateral gap of the bottom head of a rod exceeds a maximum, replace the piston, a piston finger, a piston ring and a rod assembled.
Normal gap: 0,14–0,36 mm.
Maximum gap: 0,435 mm.
