Fig. 2.8. Crankshafts of engines of the L8, LF and L3 models: 1–leading gear wheel
Crankshafts of engines of the L8 and LF models – pig-iron 5-basic with 4 counterbalances. The crankshaft of the engine of the L3 model – pig-iron 5-basic with 8 counterbalances. The leading gear wheel of a drive of a balancing shaft is established on cranked to a shaft. The usual adjusting shponka is not applied, the effort of an inhaling of bolts of a pulley of a cranked shaft provides fixing of an asterisk of a cranked shaft. At installation of an asterisk of a cranked shaft it is necessary to use the special adaptation for VMT installation of the first cylinder ( fig. 2.8).

The oil pipeline for supply of oil is located to radical necks of a cranked shaft in cranked to a shaft. Necks and galtel of necks of a cranked shaft are strengthened by a nakatka for improvement of loading characteristics.

The top and bottom loose leaves of radical bearings are made of an aluminum alloy. The top loose leaf of the bearing No. 3 - persistent. The top loose leaves have lubricant flutes and oil channels. Adjusting ledges of the top and bottom loose leaves are absent. Before installation of the top and bottom loose leaves of radical bearings it is necessary to measure and establish them them so that they settled down on the center of a cover of the bearing (fig. 2.10).
