The asterisk of a cranked shaft is made of high-strength chromic steel. The working surface of teeths is tempered for increase of resistance to an istiraniye in all points of contact to a chain. The asterisk of a cranked shaft consists of an asterisk of a chain of a drive, the mechanism of a gazoraspredeleniye and an asterisk of a drive of the oil pump which are incorporated in a uniform element. Used for asterisk installation the shponochny flute is absent (fig. 2.24).
