1.4.4.13. Check of pressure of air in tires

|
Check pressure in all tires monthly, including a spare wheel. Check of pressure of air should be made on cold tires. To provide the best combination of smoothness of a course and controllability, and also long service life of tires, support recommended pressure of air in tires (see a label on doors, fig. 1.190).
Supervise pressure of air only on cold tires.
Usually, in heated-up tires pressure of air exceeds recommended value. It is forbidden to pit air from heated-up tires to bring pressure of air into norm. Insufficient pressure of air leads to deterioration of fuel profitability, the non-uniform and accelerated wear of protectors of tires, deterioration of density of landing of the tire on rim regiments. It can lead to a spontaneous descent of the tire from a wheel rim.
Too high pressure of air in tires worsens smoothness of a course, results in the non-uniform and accelerated wear of tires, and also increases danger of damages of tires from road roughnesses. Support in tires recommended pressure of air. If it is required to pump up often the tire, check a condition of this tire and a wheel on existence of damages.
