ATTENTION
The balancing block is not subject to dismantling as has high precision of manufacturing.

Turn a cranked shaft clockwise and establish the piston of the first cylinder in situation VMT.
Establish adjusting laying on a landing surface of the balancing block.
Establish the balancing block on the block of cylinders, previously having established labels of the balancing block from above in the center (fig. 2.177).

Insert a screw-driver into a cranked shaft in the field of the first counterbalance, rotation and the annex of axial effort to the crankshaft carry out a screw-driver, operating with it as the lever, as is shown in drawing 2.178.

Establish the special adaptation, as is shown in drawing 2.179, then measure a gap in gear gearing, using the indicator of hour type.
If the gap exceeds the specified size, again measure it and, using the table of a choice of adjusting laying, choose the corresponding laying, according to the following procedure.
ATTENTION
At measurement of a gap turn a cranked shaft on one complete revolution and check compliance of a gap to norm in the following six provisions: 10 °, 30 °, 100 °, 190 °, 210 °, 280 ° after VMT.

Gap size in gear gearing: 0,005–0,101 mm.
Using the main adjusting laying (number 50), establish the balancing block on the block of cylinders, and then measure a gap.
Choose adjusting laying according to result of measurements.
Establish the chosen adjusting laying on the balancing block, then establish the balancing block on the block of cylinders.
