Weaken bolts of fastening of asterisks of cam-shafts (see fig. 2.120) (a bolt of fastening of the mechanism of change of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye), as is shown in drawing 2.121.

Remove asterisks of camshafts. The executive mechanism of change of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye (L3 with the mechanism of change of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye).

Remove the operating oil valve (OCV) (L3 with the mechanism of change of phases of a gazoraspredeleniye).

Remove covers of bearings of camshafts, having weakened fastening bolts in three steps in an order specified in drawing 2.122.

NOTE Before removal of covers of bearings of a cam-shaft check an axial gap of a camshaft and gaps in cam-shaft bearings (see further). Covers of bearings of a cam-shaft are numbered for ensuring correctness of the subsequent assembly. After removal, hold covers together with a head of the block of cylinders from which they were removed. Do not mix a cover.

Remove cam-shafts.
