3.1.2.3. Verification of the provision of switching off of coupling

Extend the lever of the parking brake so that wheels were blocked.

Start the engine and let's to it work on an idling mode.

At not pressed pedal of coupling slowly include backing transfer.

Fix the gear shifting lever in situation when gear wheels will enter into gearing.

Slowly press a coupling pedal.

Stop a coupling pedal when noise of gear wheels (the provision of switching off of coupling) will stop.

Measure distance And (distance from the provision of switching off of coupling to the provision of completely pressed pedal) and a course of a pedal of coupling.

Be convinced that distance And and a course of a pedal of coupling correspond to the established norms (fig. 3.5).

Distance "And": 20 mm.

Pedal course: 140 mm.
