1.4.5.14. Replacement of safety locks

Replacement of the safety locks located in the left block in salon.

If the electric equipment of the car does not work, first of all check the safety locks located in the left block (about the basis of a forward left rack of a body).

1. Turn the switch of ignition and other switches in situation "Is switched off".

2. Uncover the block of safety locks. For this purpose press a cover in the direction of an arrow and shift it back (fig. 1.203).

3. Take out a safety lock from a nest by means of nippers which are located in the block of safety locks in a motor compartment.

4. Check a safety lock condition. If the safety lock fused, replace it new (fig. 1.204).

5. Insert into a nest the new safety lock calculated on the same size of rated current. Check, that the safety lock densely kept in a nest. If the safety lock is inserted not densely, address on service station of the official dealer of Mazda for check. If the spare safety lock of demanded face value is absent, as a temporary measure it is possible to take the necessary safety lock protecting the electric device which essentially does not influence car functioning (for example, a safety lock from a nest «MIRROR» (mirror) or «CIGAR» (lighter)).

ATTENTION Always replace fused safety lock on serviceable which is calculated on the same size of rated current. Otherwise you can put out of action system of the electric equipment of the car.

If forward headlights or other electric devices do not work, and the safety locks located in salon are serviceable, check a condition of safety locks in the podkapotny block. If the safety lock fused, it is necessary to replace it. Execute the following operations.

1. Turn the switch of ignition and other switches in situation "Is switched off".

2. Uncover the block of safety locks (fig. 1.205).

3. If the safety lock fused, replace it new, calculated on the same size of rated current.
