1.3.1.1. Engine start-up by means of a usual key

If the steering wheel is blocked for the purpose of prevention of stealing of the car, the key can be taken out from the ignition lock, only if the switch of ignition is in the situation "LOCK" (blocking).

1. The driver and all passengers being in the car, should fasten the corresponding seat belts.

2. Check, that the parking brake was switched on.

3. Press a brake pedal.

4. For cars with a mechanical transmission: completely press a pedal of coupling and transfer the gear shifting lever to neutral situation. Hold a coupling pedal in completely pressed situation in starter operating time.

For cars with automatic transmission: transfer the lever of the switch of ranges to the situation "R" (parking). If it is necessary to start the engine under way the car, transfer the lever of the switch of ranges to the situation "N" (neutral).

NOTE For cars with automatic transmission: inclusion of a starter is blocked, if the lever of the switch of ranges is not in the situation "R" (parking) or «N» (neutral).

5. Turn the ignition switch in the situation "START" (Starter) and hold the handle in this situation before engine start-up (but not more long 10 c).

6. After start-up let's to the engine work idling about 10 pages.

NOTE If the key turns in the ignition lock hardly, shake a steering wheel here and there to unload a locking element.

In the situation "ASS" (auxiliary consumers of the electric power) ignition switch the steering wheel is not locked, and an electric food of auxiliary devices is provided.

The switch of ignition is in the situation "ON" (ignition is included) at operation of the engine after its start-up. Before start-up of the engine it is necessary to check a condition of signaling devices.

NOTE For cars with the petrol engine): at turn of the switch of ignition in the situation "ON" (ignition is included) it is possible to hear the noise of the working fuel pump which is starting with a zone of an arrangement of a fuel tank. It is the normal phenomenon and does not testify to malfunction of the car. For the cars equipped with the automatic proof-reader of headlights: at turn of the switch of ignition in the situation "ON" (ignition is included) it is possible to hear noise of a working electric drive of the proof-reader of the headlights, starting with a forward part of a motor compartment. It is the normal phenomenon and does not testify to malfunction of the car.

In the situation "START" (starter) joins an engine starter. The starter continues to work until you hold the ignition key in the situation "START". After an otpuskaniye the ignition key comes back to the situation "ON" (ignition is included).
