1.3.5. Protivobuksovochny system (TCS)

The Protivobuksovochny system (PBS) promotes increase of traction properties of the car and traffic safety at the expense of regulation of the torque developed by the engine, and a pritormazhivaniye of a slipping wheel. If the PBS system finds pro-slipping of a driving wheel, it gives command for reduction of a torque of the engine and includes the corresponding wheel brake. It prevents wheel failure in slipping and decrease in force of adhesion with a paving.

It means that on a slippery covering there is an automatic control of supply of fuel in the engine so that the torque of optimum size which excludes intensive slipping of wheels and decrease in force of adhesion of wheels with a basic surface was brought to wheels.

NOTE To disconnect PBS system, press the DSC OFF switch.

The indicator lights up for some seconds after turn of the switch of ignition in the situation "ON" (ignition is included). The signaling device blinks at operation of protivobuksovochny system (PBS) or protivozanosny system (CCD).

If the signaling device continues to burn, it can testify to violation of normal functioning of PBS systems and a CCD. Thus systems can incorrectly work.

NOTE At the same time with a blinking of a signaling device the quiet characteristic noise which is accompanying work of system and starting with a motor compartment will be audible. It testifies to normal work of protivobuksovochny system. At car movement on a slippery paving, for example on svezhevypavshy snow, the engine cannot develop high turns if the PBS system is included.
