The mechanism of switching of an automatic transmission is shown on fig. 3.88.

Disconnect a negative wire of the storage battery.

Remove the storage battery and its tray.

Remove the air filter.

Remove the console.

Remove the dashboard.

Remove the module of management of the monitoring system of stability.

Remove the control unit climatic installation (fig. 3.89).

Remove a back air line.

Remove facing of a steering column.

Disconnect clips and remove a cable of blocking and a cable of a choice of transfer.

NOTE Installation carry out in an order specified in drawing 3.88. Separate procedures on removal and installation are described in this section below.

To establish a cable of a choice of transfer it is necessary to establish at first it on an arm, as is shown in drawing 3.90.

Before replacement of a cable of a choice of transfer check that the lever of the selector is in situation P.

Block a clamp of a cable of a choice of transfer (from the selector lever) in an order shown in drawing 3.91.

Check that the shaft of manual switching is in situation P (fig. 3.92).

ATTENTION At installation of a cable of a choice of transfer hold it directly. Peregibaniye of a cable of a choice of transfer, as is shown in drawing 3.92, will lead to cable damage, it can become the reason of weakening of a cable when switching.

NOTE Establish the selector lever on the lever of a shaft of manual switching so that the spring of a tip of a cable of a choice of transfer was turned towards a forward part of the car (fig. 3.93).

Establish the selector lever on the lever of a shaft of manual switching so that the cable of a choice of transfer was not loaded.

Be convinced of that the end of the lever of a shaft of manual switching leaves a tip of a cable of a choice of transfer.

Establish a cable of a choice of transfer to an arm.
