1.1.11.3. Adjustment of a steering wheel

To adjust a steering wheel in the longitudinal direction and on a tilt angle, execute the following (fig. 1.112). 1. Stop the car and lower down the lever of a clamp located under a steering column.
2. Establish a steering wheel with a demanded inclination and/or adjust it in the longitudinal direction, then bring the lever into the top situation to fix a steering column.
3. Before a start of motion press a steering wheel up and down to be convinced of reliable fixing of a steering column.
