6.1.14. Onboard diagnostics

Work of system of onboard diagnostics of anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS/TCS) or DSC is in essence borrowed from the previous model 323 (BJ), except for the following:
– diagnostic codes, functions of the monitor of these PID and function of active teams are changed;
– the TBS DLC socket conclusion is removed;

Fig. 6.12. Block diagram of system of onboard diagnostics of the Mazda car 6: 1–control lamp of TCS (DSC) system; 2–control lamp of shutdown of TCS (DSC) system; 3–lamp of the alarm system of anti-blocking system of brakes; 4–lamp of the alarm system of brake system; 5–function of display of malfunction; 6–function of onboard diagnostics; 7–consecutive communication; 8–memory function; 9–failure detection function; 10-function of control of data; 11-function of active team; 12-reliability function; 13-input equipment of data; 14-normal area of management; 15-DLC 2 socket; 16-WDS or analog; 17-function of check of hydraulic elements; 18-output equipment

– WDS or analog use with anti-blocking system of brakes (ABS/TCS) or DSC HU/CM allows to provide four-digit display of diagnostic codes and active purpose of command modes that improves maintainability.
