4.2.1.3. Complete adjustment of a convergence of wheels

Establish a steering wheel directly and be convinced that vehicle wheels too are established directly.

Weaken lock-nuts of the left and right tip of steering draft and turn steering drafts on identical corners. Both helmsmen of draft have the right carving. Turn the right steering bent for of a forward part of the car, left – to a back part for increase in a convergence of wheels.

NOTE Rotation of both steering drafts on one complete turn changes a convergence of wheels approximately to 6 mm.

Tighten lock-nuts of a tip of steering draft nominal effort of an inhaling.

Inhaling moment: 68,6–98,0 N · m.

Be convinced of that the cover is not overwound, and establish a cover collar.

NOTE Adjust a convergence of wheels after installation of disorder of wheels.
