2.3.1.1. Check of pressure of oil
ATTENTION
The hot engine and oil can become the reason of serious burns. Before check stop the engine and wait, while the engine and engine oil will not cool down.

Remove the bottom protective cover of the engine.
Remove the sensor of pressure of oil.

Screw the special adaptation in an opening of the sensor of pressure of oil (fig. 2.200).
Warm up the engine to normal working temperature.
Establish the specified turns of the engine and write down instrument readings.
If pressure differs from specified, find out the reason and repair or replace if necessary damaged details.
NOTE
Pressure of oil depends on viscosity and temperature.

Pressure of oil
Oil temperature – 100 °C:
L8, LF: 234–521 kPas (2,39–5,31 kgfs/cm2 at 3000 mines-1);
L3: 395–649 kPas
(4,03–6,61 kgfs/cm2 at 3000 mines-1).
Stop the engine and let's to it cool down.
Remove the special adaptation.
ATTENTION
Hit of a sealing material on a working part of the sensor of pressure of oil can lead to a sensor conclusion out of operation. Be convinced that on a working part of the sensor of pressure of oil there is no sealing material.

Put kremniyevoorganichesky hermetic on a carving of the sensor of pressure of oil, as is shown in drawing 2.201.
Establish the sensor of pressure of oil.
Inhaling moment: 12–18 N · m.
Establish a protective cover of the engine.
Start the engine and check absence of leakage of oil. In the presence of leak define a defective detail, repair or replace it.
