1.1.6.17. Closing of a cover of a luggage compartment

To close a luggage carrier, lower it down both hands and press a luggage carrier before operation of a latch of the lock. Do not clap a luggage carrier, closing it. Pull a trunk lid from below up to be convinced that the lock is locked reliably.

Luggage compartment

ATTENTION It is dangerous to place luggage and other things on a regiment of a luggage compartment. In case of a road accident or emergency braking of the car this luggage can put traumas to the people who were in the car. The car is equipped with the easy shelf of a luggage compartment which is intended to hide only from extraneous views contents of a luggage compartment. The shelf of a luggage compartment unable to hold rather heavy luggage from shift (if it properly is not adhered in a luggage compartment) in case of failure, for example, at a car perevorachivaniye. When opening a back elevating door two flexible drafts fixed on the parties of a back door, raise the back shelf, providing convenient access to a luggage compartment (fig. 1.30). For increase in capacity of a luggage compartment you can remove the back shelf. For this purpose disconnect flexible drafts, then lift and take out the shelf from the car (fig. 1.31).

ATTENTION Do not lift the shelf of a luggage compartment under way the car. Do not load a luggage compartment above shelf level (the shelf should be closed). Things transported in a luggage compartment should not stir reliable fixing of latches of the shelf.
