2.3.3.1. Check of leakage of fuel

Disconnect a negative wire of the storage battery.
Remove fuel nozzles together with the fuel distributor, without disconnecting a hose of supply of fuel.

Fig. 2.219. The distributor of fuel and the fuel nozzles fixed by a wire

Rigidly fix fuel nozzles in the fuel distributor by means of a wire (fig. 2.219).
Connect a negative wire of the storage battery.

Fig. 2.220. The scheme of connection of a conclusion of the control F/P socket with mass of a body of GND by means of a crossing point

Connect a conclusion of the control F/P socket to mass of a body of GND by means of a crossing point (fig. 2.220).
Turn the ignition key in the situation ON to turn on the fuel pump.

Fig. 2.221. Tilt angle of fuel nozzles

Incline fuel nozzles approximately on 60 degrees (fig. 2.221).
Check leakage of fuel from snuffled fuel nozzles. If the size of leak exceeds norm, replace a fuel nozzle.
Normal leakage of fuel – less than 1 drop in 2 minutes.
Turn the ignition key in the situation LOCK and remove a crossing point.
Establish the fuel distributor into place.
