8.1.18.1. Removal and installation of a forward seat belt

ATTENTION
Maloperation with a seat belt of forward sitting (with a prednatyazhitel) can lead a seat belt to casual operation of a prednatyazhitel to an iseryezny trauma.
The sensor of a lateral safety cushion is attached to the lower part of the central rack.
At work in the field of the central rack disconnect a negative wire from the storage battery or work accurately, avoiding excessive blows on the lower part of the central rack.
Do not assort a natyazhitel of a seat belt.
The spring of a natyazhitel which is unwound at removal of its cover, cannot be reeled up manually. In this case the natyazhitel will not work properly.

Turn the ignition switch in the situation LOCK.
Disconnect a negative wire from the storage battery and wait not less than 1 minute.
Remove the bottom overlay of the central rack.

Using a screw-driver, raise a plate of the limiter of the socket of a seat belt with a prednatyazhitel (fig. 8.62). Disconnect the seat belt socket with a prednatyazhitel.
Uncover.
Turn off bolts and the screw, then remove a seat belt of a forward seat (fig. 8.63). Establish as it should be, the return to removal.
Be convinced of that the lamp of the alarm system of system of safety cushions lights up approximately on 6 with, and then dies away.
If the lamp of the alarm system of system of safety cushions does not work, as is described above, in system there is a malfunction. Check system, using function of onboard diagnostics.
