3.4.5.1. Preliminary check of a connecting shaft

Be convinced that the connecting shaft is not braided and has no cracks.

Turn a connecting shaft manually and check smoothness of rotation of the bearing (fig. 3.125).
Replace a shaft if necessary.

ATTENTION
Performance of the following procedures without preliminary removal of the sensor of speed of a wheel of anti-blocking system of brakes can lead to chain break in a plait of wires if the plait is by mistake tense. Before performance of the following operations remove the sensor of speed of a wheel of anti-blocking system of brakes (from a body) and fix it in a suitable place where the sensor will not be by mistake damaged at service performance.
