3.2.6.1. Check of elements of primary shaft

Measure a gap between gear wheels of the 3rd and 2nd transfers (fig. 3.48).
If the gap exceeds a maximum, check contact surfaces of gear wheels of the 2nd and 3rd transfers, couplings of the synchronizer of 3/4th transfers. Replace the worn-out and damaged details.
Gap: 0,05–0,20 mm.
At most: 0,25 mm.

Measure a gap between a gear wheel of the 4th transfer and the bearing (fig. 3.49).
If the gap exceeds a maximum, check contact surfaces of a gear wheel of the 4th transfer, the bearing and the coupling of the synchronizer of 3/4th transfers. Replace the worn-out and damaged details.
Gap: 0.17–0.37 mm.
At most: 0.42 mm.
