2.5.2.6. A control system of hashing of air on an admission (VTCS)

The VTCS system puts in action a zaslonka in an inlet collector for increase in speed of a stream of air on an admission and creations of turbulences in the combustion chamber for improvement of the dispersion entered into the cylinder of fuel. The number of emissions of CH and CO with the fulfilled gases thus decreases at small loadings.
The PCM block turns on the electromagnetic VTCS valve which closes a zaslonka in an inlet collector if the following conditions are satisfied:
– frequency of rotation of the engine – is lower than 3750 mines-1;
– the corner of opening of a butterfly valve – is lower than 1500 mines-1 – the butterfly valve is closed, between 2000 mines-1 and 3000 mines-1 – 26–29 %, 2500 mines-1 are higher – the butterfly valve is completely open;
– the temperature of cooling liquid is lower than 63 °C.
The PCM block switches off the electromagnetic VTCS valve for preservation of starting qualities and stability at start of the engine and during 0,2 with the ambassador of start-up of the engine.
