7.4.1. General informationWindscreen Cтеклоочиститель
The system of a screen wiper of a windscreen consists of a motor-reducer, the lever mechanism, levers of screen wipers with brushes and the switch. The mechanism of a screen wiper of the windscreen, equipped with the self-stopping device, consists of the worm mechanism and a plate with a cam for temporary maintenance of a chain in the included condition before end of a cycle of a working course of a screen wiper at switched-off position of the switch. Screen wipers are actuated by the electric motor with a constant magnet. The motor-reducer is established on a guard of the forward panel and connected to the lever mechanism of a screen wiper of a windscreen. Screen wipers of a windscreen have two speeds (LOW – low and HIGH – high) and a faltering operating mode. The switch of screen wipers – an integral part of the switch of screen wipers and washers. Screen wipers of a windscreen cope the lever on the right side of a steering column.

Windscreen washer
The system of a smyvatel of a windscreen consists of a tank, the pump, branch pipes, snuffled sprays and the screen wiper and washer switch.
The tank of a washer of a windscreen is established in a forward right wing. The pump of a washer fixed to a tank submits liquid through branch pipes to two jets established on a cowl of the car. The washer switch – a component of the switch of screen wipers and washers. Washers of a windscreen cope the lever on the right side of a steering column.
Pause function between courses of brushes of a screen wiper.
The control system of the windscreen screen wiper, considering speed of movement of the car is used, that is the pause between courses of brushes of a screen wiper is automatically regulated depending on speed of the car. This system reduces need for adjustment of parameters of a faltering operating mode.
Work of screen wipers
When the switch of a screen wiper is in the situation INT, the relay of a faltering operating mode of a screen wiper turns on, and the electric current moves on the electric motor of a screen wiper of a windscreen which starts to work on small speed.
Depending on a signal of speed of the car arriving from anti-blocking system of brakes (DSC) of HU/CM, the relay of management with a faltering operating mode of a screen wiper works as follows:
a) at speed of the car of 0 km/h:
– the maximum duration of a pause between working courses 11,6 with;
– the minimum duration of a pause between working courses 4,2 with;
b) at speed of the car of 30 km/h and more:
– the maximum duration of a pause between working courses 9,6 with;
– the minimum duration of a pause between working courses of 1,1 pages.
