7.2.2.1. Check on the car

Check tension on generator conclusions.

Be convinced that the storage battery is completely charged.

Be convinced that the deflection and a tension of a belt of the generator correspond to nominal rates.

Switch off everything consumers of the electric power.

Transfer the ignition lock to the situation "START" and be convinced that the generator rotates evenly and does not rustle in engine operating time.

Measure tension between generator conclusions (see fig. 7.6) idling (at 20°С) according to table 7.1.

– headlights;

– electric motor of the fan of a heater;

– heater of back glass.

Be convinced that tension on a conclusion of the "D" generator gradually increases.
